    Nitori Kawashiro (That's me!)
    Analysis: Nitori Kawashiro 11654226

Type: Analysis: Nitori Kawashiro 1380891168 Analysis: Nitori Kawashiro 279911623
    HP: 75
    Attack: 115
    Defense: 100
    Sp.Attack: 100
    Sp.Defense: 75
    Speed: 75
Abilities: Torrent / Swift Swim / Technician
    Tier: Fundex OU

Notice: This analysis is outdated as it is based on Fundex UU.

Nitori has rather lackluster stats even for Fundex UU, with her highest stat being only base 115. However, she makes up for it with two great abilities and a great movepool, including moves such as Thunder and Scald. She also has two signature moves, Monster Cucumber and Megawatt Linear Gun, both of which have high power. She can function in a variety of different ways; as a physical sweeper, a special sweeper, and mixed sweeper using Life Orb, along with a couple other ways. This makes Nitori a bit more difficult to predict than other 'mons.

    "Physical Sweeper"
Nitori Kawashiro (F) @ Choice Band / Life Orb
    Trait: Swift Swim / Torrent
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) / Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Waterfall / Megawatt Linear Gun
    - Monster Cucumber
    - Wild Charge
    - X-Scissor

Nitori's physical movepool, while not as large as her special movepool, is still large enough to put together a Choice Band set with little effort. Waterfall and Monster Cucumber provide Nitori with a good-coverage dual STAB, hitting Suwako, S.A. Penguin, Snake, and Komachi hard. If you want more power for less accuracy and PP, Megawatt Linear Gun can be used to obliterate everything. Wild Charge can hit Orly-Owl and Remilia hard while hitting Eirin harder than Monster Cucumber. X-Scissor is mostly filler, but allows Nitori to hit the several Psychic, Grass, and Dark-types in the tier, especially hitting Kaguya and Yuuka hard. As for the choice of ability and nature, run Swift Swim and Adamant if you can guarantee rain (or using Nitori in OU, where Soviet Mudkip lives). Otherwise, run Torrent and Jolly.

    "Special Sweeper"
Nitori Kawashiro (F) @ Choice Specs / Life Orb
    Trait: Swift Swim / Torrent
    EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) / Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Scald / Surf
    - Energy Ball / Giga Drain
    - Thunderbolt / Thunder
    - Ice Beam
This set focuses on Nitori's larger special movepool, despite her lower special attack. Scald and Surf are both viable Water STABs, with the former having burn hax, and the latter having a higher power. Energy Ball and Giga Drain can both be used as Grass STABs; the former having higher power, and the latter having recovery that can help mitigate the damage taken from entry hazards. For the most part, Thunderbolt should be used, unless rain is guaranteed (again, Soviet Mudkip is good for Nitori). Ice Beam rounds off the coverage and gives the infamous BoltBeam combo, hitting many 'mons for at least neutral damage.

    "Mixed Sweeper [Physical STAB]"
Nitori Kawashiro (F) @ Life Orb / Leftovers
    Trait: Swift Swim / Torrent
    EVs: 8 HP / 64 Atk / 184 SAtk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def) / Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def)
    - Waterfall / Megawatt Linear Gun
    - Monster Cucumber
    - Thunderbolt / Thunder
    - Ice Beam
This set can hit special tanks such as Dennis, who are expecting a purely special Nitori, hard. Waterfall and Monster Cucumber exist for dual STAB. Megawatt Linear Gun obliterates everything. Thunderbolt (or Thunder if Rain can be guaranteed) and Ice Beam creates the classic BoltBeam combo, hitting almost everything for neutral damage.

    "Mixed Sweeper [Special STAB]"
Nitori Kawashiro (F) @ Life Orb / Leftovers / Flying Gem
    Trait: Swift Swim / Torrent
    EVs: 8 HP / 64 Atk / 184 SAtk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def) / Mild Nature (+SAtk, -Def)
    - Surf / Scald
    - Giga Drain / Energy Ball
    - Acrobatics / X-Scissor / Brick Break
    - Acrobatics / X-Scissor / Brick Break
This set is the complete opposite of the previous one, using physical moves to pull in 'mons that can take physical attacks like MetaKnight, then hit them hard with powerful special STABs. Giga Drain is useful if Nitori is holding a Life Orb to help mitigate damage from the Life Orb. The choice of physical moves is mainly up to what your team already covers and what threats are still at large. Acrobatics (when boosted by Flying Gem) will hurt anything hard, but especially hits Flying-weak 'mons like Wriggle and Kaguya. X-Scissor can also hit Grass-types, but hits Dark-types and Psychic-types like Dennis and Yoda harder than Acrobatics. Brick Break helps break (insert rimshot here) King Dedede, Sakuya, and The King, while dealing ample damage to Eiki and Yumemi.

    Other Options

Technician, Hone Claws, Counter, Leaf Blade, Blizzard, Hidden Power, Return, Swords Dance, Megawatt Linear Gun

Technician can be used with Bullet Seed, Aqua Jet, and Hidden Power for a decent mixed Technician set.
Hone Claws and Swords Dance can be used on a physical set to boost Nitori's attack to very high levels.
Counter is a gimmicky option, but can potentially inflict a lot of damage.
Leaf Blade can be used over Monster Cucumber for a higher crit chance and more PP.
Blizzard can be used over Ice Beam, although the 70 accuracy hurts it.
Hidden Power and Return can both be used as neutral coverage moves.

    Checks and Counters

Nitori's checks and counters are mainly based upon what set she's running. If she is running a mainly physical attacking set (including the mixed set with physical STABs), bulky Yoda and Sakuya are your best bets. Just watch out for X-Scissor and Brick Break, respectively. A purely special set is easily walled by Kaguya, Suwako (watch out for Giga Drain), and, again, bulky Yoda. The lower power of mixed attacking sets makes it easier to wall; bulky Yoda can take a good amount of damage before going down, and Kirby can take damage from a mixed set relatively well.
