    Analysis: Missingno.-Y

Post  Nitori Kawashiro on Tue Apr 02, 2013 12:15 pm

    HP: 178
    Attack: 19
    Defense: 11
    Sp.Attack: 23
    Sp.Defense: 23
    Speed: 0
    Ability: No Ability
    Tier: Fundex UU

Apparently, (according the powers that be... I'm just doing my job. I do what I'm told. I don't even get paid very much.) I'm contractually obliged to make an analysis for something I claim, regardless of amount of use in any Fundex metagame.

Missingno.-Y's stats, overall, are one of the worst in all of Fundex; its only good stat is its considerably high HP, but any walling-like strategies Missingno.-Y might use are put off because of its horrid defenses. Its movepool is very restricted, like that of normal Missingno., but its offensive stats are just as bad as its defenses. Nevertheless, someone will find a use for Missingno.-Y someday. And it's not going to be me.

    Missingno.-Y @ Focus Sash
    Trait: (No Ability)
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 Spd
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
    - Tri Attack
    - Psychic / Seismic Toss
    - Ice Beam / Blizzard / Seismic Toss
    - Thunder / Thunder Wave / Seismic Toss

This is probably the best Missingno.-Y set that exists for Single Battles. Tri Attack for STAB and potential status, Psychic for a possible Sp.Def. drop, Ice Beam and Blizzard for freeze hax, Thunder for parahax, and Thunder Wave for support. Seismic Toss always deals a flat 100 damage, and might be useful against stuff with less than 300 HP. Nothing else, really.

    Checks or Counters

EVERYTHING. Just whack it a couple times and it's dead. The end.
