    Kirby
    Analysis: Kirby 3528894117
    711 what is this even
Kirby should get like a Slurpee or something
also this is my 10th analysis

    Type: Analysis: Kirby 1594612372
    Attack: 100
    Defense: 100
    Sp.Attack: 100
    Sp.Defense: 100
    Speed: 50
Abilities: Trace / Cute Charm / Gluttony
    Tier: Fundex UU

Kirby is one of the more versatile 'mons in UU, with a rather large movepool, average stats (except for Speed), and Trace adding up to a 'mon about as easily predictable as Mew. (Coincidentially, they're both pink and cute.) Kirby can perform many different roles, but is hampered by his lack of resistances and rather average defensive stats, despite having 100/100/100 defenses.

    "Gourmet Race" (Agility Physical Sweeper)
    Kirby (M) @ Life Orb
    Trait: Trace
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) / Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Agility
    - Return
    - Rock Slide / Close Combat / Ice Punch / ThunderPunch
    - Rock Slide / Close Combat / Ice Punch / ThunderPunch

Agility doubles Kirby's Speed, bringing him up to 398 with a neutral nature, and 436 with a positive nature. On the physical side of things, Return is the strongest physical move Kirby has, with base 102 power plus STAB, it'll deal quite a bit of damage, even off of base 100 Attack. As for the third and fourth moves, Rock Slide hits Wriggle, non-Intimidate Remilia, and Orly-Owl pretty hard. Close Combat hurts Sakuya and Dennis-B pretty hard (Dennis-B has to be switched in on to avoid Intimidate), along with dealing modest damage to Yuuka without Intimidate, Keine, and normal form Dennis (again, switch in on him to avoid Intimidate). Ice Punch hits Shizuha, Remilia and Kaguya for considerable damage, while ThunderPunch carries similar effectiveness, but also hits Komachi and Eirin, at the cost of Shizuha being immune.

    "Star Spitter" (Agility Special Sweeper)
    Kirby (M) @ Life Orb
    Trait: Trace
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) / Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Agility
    - Hyper Voice
    - Air Slash / Flamethrower / Shadow Ball / Surf
    - Air Slash / Flamethrower / Shadow Ball / Surf

Kirby has less power in his special movepool, but packs a greater variety of types. Hyper Voice is Kirby's special STAB of choice, though not as powerful as Return. Air Slash hits Shizuha and Yuuka hard, but they take less damage than from Ice Punch. Flamethrower hits Hibachi and Sakuya for massive damage, while also hitting Eiki and Cirno for notable damage. Shadow Ball is mainly there to hit Komachi and Cell hard. Surf inflicts large amounts of damage on Mokou and Suika, whose poor Special Defense stats hold them back against Kirby.

    "Feels Like Pants" (Baton Pass)
Kirby (M) @ Leftovers / Liechi Berry / Salac Berry / Petaya Berry
    Trait: Trace / Gluttony
    EVs: 248 HP / 12 Atk / 124 Def / 124 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) / Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
    - Substitute
    - Swords Dance / Work Up / Agility
    - Return / Extremespeed
    - Baton Pass

A rather simple Baton Pass set. Sub on a switch, set up, then Baton Pass to the appropriate teammate. Work Up is best used for passing to special attackers, as it's Kirby's only Special Attack-boosting move. Return or Extremespeed is mainly for preventing Kirby from being Taunt bait. Kirby has 403 HP with the given EV setup, allowing him to Sub 4 times and still have 3 HP left. If Gluttony is picked over Trace, using a pinch Berry combined with Substitute could give an extra stat boost.

"You're Too Slow" (Trick Room Sweeper)
    Kirby (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Trace
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
    IVs: 0 Spd
    Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
    - Return
    - Gyro Ball
    - Close Combat
    - ThunderPunch / Ice Punch

Rather simple "kill dem all" moveset in Trick Room. Return for STAB, Gyro Ball becomes powerful in Trick Room, Close Combat kills things, ThunderPunch or Ice Punch to hit Remilia and either Komachi or Shizuha. Not much else to say.

    Other Options

Spark, Discharge, Acrobatics, Fire Punch, Leaf Blade, Frost Breath, Explosion, Poison Jab, Psyshock, Iron Head

Spark is weaker than ThunderPunch, but the extra paralysis chance might be helpful.
Discharge hasn't been released on Kirby yet, but could be effective on special attacking sets if it does get released.
Acrobatics combined with a Flying Gem can deal a painful amount of damage.
Leaf Blade, Fire Punch, Poison Jab and Iron Head can be used on the physical attacking sets.
Explosion is a good move for when Kirby's done his job and wants to go out with a bang, or entry hazards disallow switching Kirby in anymore.
Frost Breath and Psyshock are both moves usable on special attacking sets.

    Checks and Counters

Kirby's average offensive stats leaves him walled by a variety of 'mons. Sakuya and MetaKnight can take most of Kirby's physical attacks well, but have to watch out for Fire Punch and Brick Break, respectively. Dennis walls special attacking Kirbies very well, and lowers Kirby's Attack on the switch-in as well. Yuuka also can lower Kirby's Attack by switching in, and out-slows him inside Trick Room. Yoda can deal an effective amount of damage with Fail Blast, but worries about the shaky accuracy. Lastly, Kirby is hurt badly by Close Combats or Superpowers from Meirin, Phoenix Wright or Suika.
