Lolwut Pear is one of the prime walls in Fundex OU, having great defensive stats, being immune to Electric and resisting Fighting, Rock, Bug, Poison, and Fire thanks to Thick Fat. Thanks to Thick Fat it also lacks the Ice weakness it would have otherwise. However, Lolwut Pear doesn't have that high offensive stats, nor does it have good Speed. It also has a quite shallow Physical movepool. Its Other movepool is also lacking, but decent enough to work with, on the good side.

A basic walling set. Besides Toxic, Lolwut Pear also has access to Thunder Wave, so you may want to run a double status set instead of the classic Toxic / Protect combination. Protect can also just be used for additional Black Sludge healing instead of stalling Toxic. Gunk Shot is Lolwut Pear's strongest physical attack, but you can use Poison Jab over it if you prefer accuracy. Earthquake covers Steel types who would otherwise wall the entire set outside of Thunder Wave.

Our biting pear can use its 87 Attack to do some damage as well. Gunk Shot or Poison Jab and Earthquake are your STAB attacks, with Payback or Rock Slide for some extra coverage. Explosion is also an option, and it deals a lot of damage to anything that doesn't resist it nor has great Defense. Protect with the Black Sludge item is Lolwut Pear's closest thing to reliable healing.

Toxic Spikes would be used on a lead set, if you wanted to open with Lolwut Pear.
Checks and Counters
Being weak to Water, Lolwut Pear can be checked by powerful Water attacks, especially in Rain, which makes it impossible for Lolwut Pear to survive. Psychic or Ground attacks are also super effective. Dr. Octogonapus is the best one to use because of his immunity to Earthquake, making it able to switch into one and use Psycho Boost on Lolwut Pear. ROFLcopter is immune to both Poison and Ground, making it a hard counter to the pear. Any Physical wall can easily take its attacks, but should be wary of super effective attacks from the tanking set. Any Taunter makes Lolwut Pear unable to status or Protect, lowering its walling capability.
